Jay Sekulow

Jay Sekulow is Chief Counsel of the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), one of the most prestigious law firms in the United States of America. He also serves as Chief Counsel of the European Centre for Law and Justice (ECLJ). He is an accomplished U.S. Supreme Court advocate, internationally renowned expert on religious liberty, and a respected broadcaster.

Jay Sekulow is an attorney with a passion for protecting religious liberty - freedom - democracy. He had been appointed a Visiting Fellow of Harris Manchester College in the University of Oxford during the two summer sessions of 2013 and 2014 when he was a member of the Summer Research Institute. During this Institute, he gave a lecture on Middle Eastern Affairs and International Law.

Robert W. "Skip" Ash

Senior Counsel, ACLJ & ECLJ

Robert W. "Skip" Ash is a Senior Counsel at the ACLJ and at the ECLJ. Ash heads the ACLJ's national security practice. As such, he deals daily with legal issues concerning Believers in the U.S. Armed Forces, with issues regarding the Law of Armed Conflict worldwide, with issues before the International Criminal Court, with issues before the United Nations and its agencies, and with issues before other international courts in Europe. Ash is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy, who served 22 years on active duty as a U.S. Army officer. His service included serving as NATO desk officer in the War Plans division of the Army Staff as well as a military strategist for the Secretary of Defense in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Strategy and Plans in the Pentagon. Ash is also one of the founders of the Centre for the Study of Law & Public Policy at Oxford. He currently serves as Secretary of the Centre.

A graduate of Regent University School of Law, Ash has also served as a member of the faculties of the School of Law and the Robertson School of Government at Regent where he taught courses on national security law, public international law, comparative law, First Amendment law, business associations, and legal research and writing.

Harry Hutchison

Senior Counsel and Director of Policy, ACLJ

Harry G. Hutchison is Senior Counsel and Director of Policy for the ACLJ. He has served as a Professor of Law at the Antonin Scalia Law School, George Mason University, where he taught courses ranging from employment law to constitutional law. He also served as the chair of the university's curriculum committee. He has distinguished career teaching law for over 30 years at various law schools and universities through America.

Harry Hutchison has authored dozens of scholarly legal and public policy articles for numerous publications over the years. He was a Visiting Fellow during the summer session of 2014 while attending the Summer Research Institute at Harris Manchester College in the University of Oxford. He was engaged in research regarding the intersection of freedom of religion and corporate law as well as the connection between Fabian Socialism and contemporary African American progress.

Andrew Ekonomou

Senior Counsel, ACLJ

Andrew J. Ekonomou, Ph.D., serves as Senior Counsel for the ACLJ. He has served as Special Assistant Attorney General of Georgia, Acting United States Attorney, and Legal Counsel to the Majority Leader of the Georgia House of Representatives.

In addition he has served as Adjunct Professor at DeKalb College, Adjunct Professor of Law at Atlanta Law School, Lecturer in Modern Greek at Georgia State University, and Lecturer in Byzantine History and Literature at Emory University. He is proficient in Modern and New Testament Greek, Latin, French, Italian, and German. He has also written numerous scholarly articles and unpublished manuscripts.
